Vision Care Services
Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, Inc. provides a full continuum of vision care from vision screenings, complete eye
examinations and prescription eyeglasses to coordinating sight saving surgery.
Vision services are provided through our Chamblee Clinic, our mobile clinics and virtually via our new
tele-optometry program throughout Georgia.
Tele-Optometry Vision Exam Program
Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, Inc. launched the first-ever statewide tele-optometry exam program in April 2022. This program is focused on one goal – serving patients who need us most where they live. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, we will better coordinate services in areas of the state with no access to vision services. Download Brochure
Vision Clinics & Optics
In addition to our tele-optometry program, we offer free eye exams and low-cost glasses to qualifying patients at our facility located in Chamblee. We also have a traditional statewide mobile clinic program. In partnership with licensed optometrists and ophthalmologists, we provide fully dilated eye exams and high-quality eyeglasses produced in our optical lab.
Vision Surgery
Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, Inc. partners with ophthalmologists, anesthesiologists and surgery centers across the state to facilitate sight-saving surgical procedures, including treatment for glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetes-related vision impairment.
Vision Services Application
Our mission is to serve 1.4 million Georgians who are uninsured and underinsured. We strive to bring vision care to the 52 counties with little or no access to vision services. Please review the requirements and supporting documents below, and if you qualify, patients can apply for services either online or by printing, completing, and mailing an application.
