Jefferson Resident Appointed to Strengthen the Organization’s Commitment to Transforming Vision Services in Georgia and Access to Vision Care

Atlanta, GA (February 2024) – Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, the state’s top organization for providing vision services for children, adults, and seniors who otherwise do not have access to vision care, is pleased to announce the Board of Directors. Their fresh viewpoints and knowledge will help advance the organization’s goal of providing clear vision to more Georgians.

Mark Bradley of the Jefferson Lions Club has been elected to the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation Board. Mark was born in Tampa, Florida and moved to Georgia at a very young age. He served as an active member of the Jefferson Lions Club for more than 20 years, serving as President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

Bradley earned a Melvin Jones Fellowship and was named Lion of the Year in 2008. He has received 4 International Presidents “Certificates of Appreciation”, the Lions Clubs International Presidential Leadership, and the Lions Clubs International Presidential Award. Mark assisted in the formation of the Georgia Lions Leadership Camp held in Waycross, which is now known as the Grace Clower Georgia Lions Leadership Retreat. Mark has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation since January of 2019.

Mark has always been devoted to his community serving as Past President, Secretary, and Treasurer of Jefferson Rotary Club. He is a Progressive Paul Harris Fellow and was named Rotarian of the Year. He has served on numerous non profit Boards in the Piedmont Judicial Area, which is made up of Barrow, Banks and Jackson Counties. Mark has twice been named “Citizen of the Year” by the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce. Mark is also very active in Freemasonry is a 33 rd Degree Mason who is scheduled to serve as Grand Master of Georgia in 2024-25.
