Thanks to Kia, Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation
is transforming vision care for children in metro Atlanta.
One of the wonderful things about Kia’s partnership with Georgia Lion’s Lighthouse Foundation is that it allows us to provide services to children in schools. We’ve provided over 681 pairs of glasses throughout the school year and our goal is to at least double that by the end of the year. They’re able to reach their fullest potential in the classroom without those barriers of not being able to see. Our absolute hope for the next ten years is that we’re in all the schools throughout Georgia.
We started this program in 2022. Over the last year alone, we have screened over 3000 kids. Helping them to be able to see more clearly, their school work, it makes a big difference in the lives of the children that we serve.
Kia’s program with Georgia Lion’s Lighthouse Foundation has allowed us to put glasses on 681 students across 3 different school systems this year. It just makes a world of difference.
