CHAMBLEE, GA- Prepare your taste buds for the 9th Annual Taste of Chamblee returning to downtown Chamblee on September 12, 2015, from 3:00-9:00pm. This year’s cuisines will range from Italian to Indian and celebrate the diverse restaurant community in Chamblee. In addition to the amazing food, an art walk, live music, and a family-friendly kid zone, the event will open with an antique car show beginning at noon.

This year’s Taste of Chamblee is hosted by the City of Chamblee to benefit one of the City’s largest local nonprofits, the Georgia Lions Lighthouse (501c3). Discover DeKalb generously returns as the event’s presenting sponsor.

“This is an important event for the City of Chamblee and we are excited to introduce the community to a new and improved event schedule” said City Manager Johnson.

Admission to the event is free, and tickets for tastings will be sold for $1. Tickets may be redeemed at participating restaurant booths for a wide selection of tastings that will range from $1 – $5 per sample.

The band GLOW will be the headliner for the evening’s concert. This phenomenal group is comprised of the best musicians and vocalists in the southeast, bar none. It will be a highly interactive show with lots of audience participation. Local acts will perform throughout the day.
