Ms. Mohkles, Jolly's mother was desperately calling organizations trying to find someone to help her two year old child, who suffered from frequent tear-duct infections. Jolly’s mother was desperate and in tears when she called the Lighthouse and exuberant when she learned that we were able to help. “Now, our little girl is happy and she’s able to learn and play and enjoy life as a normal 2 year old should!”

The Lighthouse Foundation gave out 20+ pair of glasses to children with Retinoblastoma or RB on June 2, 2007. RB is a type of eye cancer only found in children. Many times this is |

treated by removal of the infected eye and replacement with a prosthetic. The prosthetic eye and the child's other functioning eye needs to be protected with safety glasses. These glasses are what the Lighthouse was able to provide, which will help protect their eyes while playing on the playground or doing other activities.
